It's funny you mention security. When I did that, I'd have my work uniform on before and after my shift. I'd go before my shift and get fuel, or coffee or whatever. After the shift fuel food, or beer. I've had several people walk up to me and say "hey officer". I would say talk to the police. Orange safety vest should have been a clue I'm not an officer.
On the other hand, I have a friend that is in CAP. He walks around like he is military. He's not. That pisses me off!
& Obama tried to back it down & tRump just doubled down! & you wonder why there is a Black Lives Matter movement! Living in an occupied state!
