And nevertheless one of the most significant contributors to science of all time. Even so, there was an awesome talk by NdGT during Beyond Belief. I think it was 2015? Anyway, he was talking about all the things Newton could have done if only he wasn't held back by belief.
Converting base metals to Gold,or Silver? Synthetic,Man made diamond perhaps, but true conversions (as far as I know),have not been done.
