I think I've heard before that sometimes proofreaders let things like this stay in for the sake of having a laugh . Maybe it's true. 
@MST3K That all depends on if the boss has a sense of humor or not.
I remember showing this to my psychiatrist down in Shreveport back around 1990. He nearly fell out of his chair laughing. I was a hoping he didn't have another heart attack (he had just gotten home after having bypass surgery)!
