If there's other kids with sticks, do you take their stick away too? Try to establish a "kids can't play with sticks" law?

I can remember having things taken away as a kid because we misused them. So yes. Back then any parent's word was law.
@RavenCT What about if the kids were playing with sticks & one of them brought his mom's carving knife?
