What we need to do is repeal the Second Amendment to the US Constitution. It is outdated. We no longer need citizen militias, because we have a standing military. Then, when the Second Amendment is repealed, we can outlaw firearms, with the exception of the on-duty police, the on-duty military, and on-duty guards where they are required.
