PETA lost my respect, any little bit I may have had, long ago. They remind me of a cult & won't get a penny of my money or one good word from me. I love animals, recognize the relationship we share on a genetic & biologic basis, think that meat needs to be "harvested" much more humanely 'til we all decide to drop it, but I don't need lying fanatics dictating how I should feel or behave.

Here is a problem I have with that. Too many animal rights groups look the other way when the animals that are being "tortured" (artificially inseminated or penned in close quarters) are being breed for food.

I once took a tour of the Seattle zoo and we met with a Dr. Doo? There is a program where animal scat is collected and composted for fertilizer. It is very popular and one time there was a raffle for the stuff. He showed us a pile of 'doo' and put in a long probe to show how much heat was being generated. He also asked us to see if there was something unusual. We didn't until he told us there was no smell. The scat only came from herbivores. Carnivore scat does not work, it is smelly, greasy and takes forever to decompose and is sent into the sewer drains.

Show us in the doll? Oh man I just grossed myself out.
