Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.That is true of most mental disorders. When I was young folks who were bi-polar were put in institutions and kept drugged. If one was clinically depressed you were told to buck up and get over it. Younger people have never heard the word exploratory surgery, where they had to cut you open to see what might be wrong. Most cancers were a death sentence because by the time they found it, it was too late.

@altschmerz It is amazing what has happened in the imaging part of medicine. The most important doctor people seldom see is the radiologist. The other doctors depend on his reading of your pictures before they do anything.
