Spelling and grammar will always change over time. Might as well get used to it. In the big scheme of things spelling and grammar is not really important. CEOs have a hard time with spelling or grammar because it's a waste of time to learn something that you normally wouldn't use. Does it make certain people seem uneducated and dumb. Yes. Only to those who are "intelligent". Let's be honest. How many of those are in the world. Lol.

The "big picture" is poor grammar and spelling makes the writer sound uneducated, careless and sloppy. One can use computer tools to improve one's writing. When they don't care to pay attention to spell checkers and other writing tools, it makes one come across as a boorish lout.
The point of writing clearly by current standards is to be understood rather than guess what the author meant.
