This perfectly sums up the confusion/illogic that generates incredible anxiety and discord especially for young people trying to make sense of this conundrum. It leads to challenging mental health issues for many.

I did not quite expect the second one to make me laugh so much.
the sad part about the first one is that many religions say it's both. God is judging us so we will repent and turn to him so he can save us.
How does it go - god sacrificed himself to himself to save us from himself...
