And if it's all someone ever knows, that would be understandable. But in today's day & age, with education and technology as accessible as it is, and grown adults that live and interact with society, i find it hard to swallow that people still believe so completely in this bullshit.

@scurry Cognitive Dissonance. They grew up believing it. The people around them believe it. When faced with contrary facts it is too much for them to handle, so they go on believing something irrational to avoid that uncomfortable feeling.
