I have not cared for bacon since childhood. I used to pick off the fat when it was cooked lightly or break it into pieces and spread it around my plate to look like I had eaten it when it was overdone as in the picture. Always in trouble for not being grateful for “good” food.

My son doesn't care for it if it is crispy, and he picks off the fat on the barely done ones.
