@bbyrd009 One good reason for repealing the Second Amendment is that it is outdated. The stated purpose for the amendment is that at that time we did not have standing armies. Therefore, the citizens had to be armed and ready to join together to protect the United States. Now, we have standing armies, so there is no need for citizens to own firearms. In fact, when citizens own firearms, we have such disasters as school shootings, murders, killing innocent animals, robberies, forcing others to do things they would not otherwise do, etc.

@BestWithoutGods Actually the Second Amendment is supposed to be interpreted in conjunction with the militia act meaning that those who are reservists or veterans would be paid by the federal and state government to maintain and safely store firearms to help defend this country when attacked by Domestic terrorist like the proud boys or 3%ers or other groups of this type. I for one would be more than happy to rid this country of the Klan....

Dissolution of the constitution is not provided for but Treason, sedition, and open revolt are as crimes called felonies and even a sitting president or congressman can be charged and arrested for participating in any of those acts... Anyone ,with the proper police checks, can own a shotgun or sporting rifle in the UK. They must be kept in a secure gun cabinet which is inspected periodically, People who like shooting at targets with handguns can do so but the guns must be kept securely at the gun club/range.
