Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Well, you'd think the timing would be much more recent then, to ensure good samples of DNA. Since the 'newest' fossils are @65 million yo, & some much older, the DNA is degraded or non-existent. Placing them at say, the dawn of homo sapiens or even homo habilis would mean a better supply of viable genetic material!
