To claim there is an "invasion" under way is butchering the English language. And yeah, the people making these claims are engaging in stochastic terrorism, and we are seeing racist violence and lunacy as a result. The border crisis is a made up problem because the GOP doesn't have any real solutions for America's problems. The Dems play the same game, but they target Russia, China, Iran, etc. GOP fear-mongering may lead to a Civil War, Dem fear-mongering may lead to world war. What a time to be alive!
