12 mass shootings in the past 48 hours
My mass shooting tracker has been so overactive in the past 48 hours that I turned it off for the first time since agreeing to volunteer with the organisation. That was almost a decade ago.
Just a few of them. The ages of the victims keep lowering, the number of victims keep rising.

That's just life in America. Absolutely nothing will come of this. These are just blips on the news that will soon be gone and forgotten. I hate to sound this way but the issue of gun control and gun violence in the U.S. seems to have become deadlocked. Nothing has really changed in decades despite the countless mass shootings. Even near daily mass shootings isn't enough to enact change. I've grown extremely cynical about any hope of the U.S. making significant and impacting laws to counteract the plague of guns in the country.
Seems like we've already started a mini-civil war.
