I own 3 guns but I have never supported the NRA. I have always supported gun control. In fact, I advocate a complete ban because it would make the world safer. This puts me at odds with half my family for whom hunting is almost a religion.

There are people that still use guns to put food on the table
@MikeFlora half of my family does, they try to feed it to me. Not really into the flavor myself but they all follow all the laws and are totally responsible. I also know they pay a big price for it with all the fees and licenses. I say I support a complete ban because of the greater good but in reality that will not happen in my lifetime so there really is no need to even discuss it. That's something that will happen long in the future if ever.
