The girl that was shot in the Maryland school shooting died. She was shot in the head, the doctors told her parents she was brain dead, so they took her off life support.

It is a safe bet to say the parents of the killed girl don't agree with that sentiment one tiny bit. I tought it was an insensitive way to put it. Every person killed is a tragedy to one family and group of people.
