Nothing worse than an active shooter drill with three year olds. Our school goes from Prek3 to 6th grade. The little ones don't understand and are scared. The older I get the more hopeless I feel.

Who ever is shooting these signs is NOT controlling her/his own gun. Surely gun control advocates as well as gun rights advocates can agree that obviously irresponsible/ anti-social gun shooters should be deprived of their guns.

My grand daughter has anxiety issues. She is now in high school. Every time her school holds an active shooter drill she melts down - frantically running and screaming in terror. Should a shooter enter her school she would certainly be an obvious target and first to go.
The chances of a school shooting in any particular school are pretty small. The chances of my granddaughter being permanently damaged by active shooter drills are very high.

Duck&cover drills taught us to look away from the atom bomb flash and crawl under our school desks...FIRE DRILLS we evacuated.....tornado drills we sat on the hallway floor...all seemed far away and sometimes a siren was heard tested half a mile away....shooters are evil invaders to a school WITHOUT WARNING .....sorry most kids were not from hunting families cleaning rifles and pistols for bird and jack rabbit killing for dinners

Sandy Hook shooter shot up his own kindergarten 14 years AFTER HE attended classes there....WHAT SHOULD HAVE HAPPENED after 20+ people were killed is lawsuits against his family who allowed him to play with guns and violent video games.....he killed his gun nut mom TEACHER who took him to shooting range often their whole lives....he was autistic and mentally ill.....his divorced father and adult brother KNEW ALL THIS AND DID NOTHING....the El Paso WalMart shooter MOM DID CALL COPS AND COPS DID NOTHING....anyone who knows a gun owner is nuts MUST REPORT the gun&owner to cops AND COPS MUST DETAIN the suspect for mental health evaluation....Des Moines Iowa cops just arrested a gun nut FOR JESUS ....YES he shot up his apartment for Jesus when cops knocked on his door....going off on street drugs is NO EXCUSE and religion with guns MUST NOT BE ALLOWED TO MIX

Oh we have some who do half day preschool and some who stay all day because their parents work. They nap in the afternoon. It is not so bad for them and most enjoy the half day. Nap, not so much! 
@GreatNani oh, so it's kinda like daycare for them? Personally, I wouldn't do it... But I understand others don't have a choice... Thanks for the info...
