Question

"If you criminalize guns, only criminals will have guns." But what's so bad about that? We could spot somebody packing walking down the street, and call them in, instead of having to wait for them to take aim at someone. It's not like we would be disarming our law enforcement, and I'd really like to see some statistics behind the NRA's 'Good Guy With A Gun' narrative (because I bet it doesn't happen very often).

You are right it doesn't happen hardly at all. I have a link to a article that shows it in detail, I just have to find it.

Well what people fail to realize is that we don't want guns banned. Just more strict methods to obtain a gun. Taking gun classes, pay registration fees. Have to complete x amount of courses. Stop selling semi automatic weapons. Etc.
