It's not just lessening hunger. How about compassion for the animals who are tortured from the time they enter the world until the time they leave it? How can anyone support such an industry?

This is old news for many of us. We talk about critical thinking on this site but, too often, that doesn't include food choices. People talk about the hunger in the world but don't dare ask anyone to cut don on meat consumption as a way to help feed others.
