I'm not a professional scientists, although I do have some knowledge built up over my crazy history.
I've got way more questions than I do answers.

I'm a retired scientist but outside my area of specialisation my interest is pretty much the same as that of an informed lay person. I too have more questions than answers: I think most scientists do. The people who don't are the religious nutters who already know all the answers and will not tolerate questions.

@scurry I'm no scientist by any means, I'm here to learn cool stuff. And I'm of the mindset that there's no such thing as a stupid question, so you'll get no grief from me no matter what you say.
