And perhaps I am the first person in history to ever purposely hit baklava with neutrons. 🙂

Why??

Lots of Monty Python as a kid, and any excuse to design a test routine around something - no matter how silly.

...and what have you discovered? Concluded? We're all hanging on the edge of....well...nevermind.

I concluded that Baklava is more transparent to beta radiation than I would have guessed, with all that honey in the mix (water and hydrocarbons, both good moderators). And I discovered that it is very silly! I also discovered I didn't want to eat the outside of the baklava because it had been touching lead and tungsten!

@Observer-Effect ...I was being "agnostic"....sorry....but still a funny evidential presentation!

Did the honey slow them down?

Yeah it looks to me like honey is likely as good of a moderator as heavy water is, but - it would be pretty absurd trying to actually use it that way! Fun though!

@Observer-Effect sweet.

Do you have anything against baklava? 😁

Nope, love it! Hell, maybe this would improve it! Pretty unlikely though, I don't work at energy levels high enough to make any real changes in a target.
