Will Northern Ireland Get Back With Ireland?
I just love this hilarious sketch which tries to untangle and explain the fraught relationships between all the concomitant parts of the British Isles…the perennial question around Northern Irish identity and preferred affiliation clarified? Nope!!
Either that or Boris resigns . The Irish used to be mocked - not by me with Irish jokes -but now I pity them for being mucked about by the English so very much.
My sympathies are all with the Irish.
Good one!
Yes …a good parody.
very funny
Yes…I think it’s hilarious…and yet so close to the mark!
10% Norse sounds interesting.
Just about everyone in the British Isles has Norse in their DNA…it’s a higher percentage in Ireland and Scotland…16% I believe…but 10% sounds about right as an average for the whole of the British Isles, as it’s less. - around 6% in England. The Vikings were here for a few centuries and definitely left their mark on us!
@Marionville I should get mine tested to find out if the rumour is true.
@FrayedBear It could only be an asset to you if you were part Viking!
@Marionville if my surname is anything to go by it may be a lot more than 10%. It dates back more than a 1000 years. Add to that my grandmother was a Wallace.

Posted by MattHardyA Boris promise is just a lie that hasn't happened yet. Whatever Sue Grey says, no way is Boris going to admit he lied and resign.
