Inspired by hearing a blackbird...harpist Uno Vesje wrote this piece of music which won him first place at the 6th USA International Harp Competition for new compositions in 2019. Uno is Norwegian and studied music at the Manhattan School of Music in NYC and at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. He now performs as a harp soloist with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and as a guest soloist with a variety of orchestras in Norway and other other European countries.

Yes...it’s a lovely sound.
@Marionville We stayed at a motel once that had a grotto type atrium, with greenery, waterfalls, pools, pathways, etc. & harp music was in the background, & it was lovely to stay there.

@Marionville Oh I love the harp and one of my very close friends plays one, often the music of Alan Stivel.
