Today I’m posting a new song for the coming Winter Solstice in the northern hemisphere…but it’s composer is actually from the opposite part of the world…down under in Australia in fact. Peter Grundy’s music which is mainly instrumental with only a few vocal chants added, is in the Celtic fantasy genre and this one is called - The Sacred Flame.

How beautiful - so ethereal, and perfect for solstice. I'll have to check out more of his work.

I’m not really familiar with his work…I was looking for Winter Solstice music and stumbled on him.

@Marionville Me either. From what I can find, his other compositions are in the same style, and there are quite a few of them on YouTube so I think I'll give a listen while working. Apparently he only started composing in 2013.

@Lauren Depends upon how good you are at composing. I started in 1958 and I haven't got very far yet!
