I’ve had to change my holiday plans again…no longer an option to do the Baltic cruise with Viking, as the whole eastern part of the itinerary has been scrubbed…no Helsinki, Tallinn, Riga, or St. Petersburg, due to Russia’s war with Ukraine. We decided yesterday to revert to our original plan to do the Viking River cruise on the Douro in Portugal. In light of that change, here’s a video about traditional Fado music which will be included in our itinerary….the singer is Amalia Rodrigues, often called “Queen of Fado”, and she first sings Barco Negro followed by Uma Casa Portuguesa.

It sounds like the change to your itinerary will still be a wonderful time for you Marje. 
I’ve never heard this Fado music before, and really enjoyed these two songs. The info was so interesting too. Wonderful post!!
