Sheku Kanneh- Mason is an extraordinarily talented young English cellist…the third oldest of a family of seven extraordinary musically gifted children. Born and raised in Nottingham to an Antiguan father and a mother from Sierra Leone, Sheku won “Young Musician of the Year” in 2016 and played at Windsor during the wedding of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle in 2018. Here he performs along with musicians from The Royal College of Music…J.S. Bach’s - Come Sweet Death (arranged for 5 cellos).

@RogerBenham I just discovered that the above 5 cellos arrangement was a new one by Sheku himself, that was why he figured most prominently in the clip.

The family was featured on tv not too long ago. Very musical.

Yes…every one of them…amazingly talented.

@Marionville That they are.

5 cellos but they only film one of them. Why? I think that they could have been more generous.

It was a video made to profile him, part of a documentary I think. He is the famous one after all…the one who has won all the plaudits.
