Scottish violinist Nicola Benedetti at Classical Brit Awards 2012 where she won the award for Female Musician of the Year. She performs the very moving John Williams’ Schindler’s List from the 1993 Steven Spielberg film of the same name.

Pleasant stuff though I've not been to see the "fillums) (movies) for many years.

Well…it was a 1993 fillum….so that’s not exactly recent! Only 30 years old…..

@Marionville Effectively I gave up movies and TV in 1979 when I went to live in the "bush". I felt TV was a useful tool at persuading one to live beyond one's means. I did see Star Wars and ET (not very useful) and Invictus and Chariots of Fire (good movies) but I lived too far from cinemas. Since 2005 I have downloaded movies but watched very few. The Harry Potters! I downloaded some TV Dad's Army and what Jeannie and I loved Waiting for God. Since she died I think I have watched 3 movies. I really liked What We Did On Our Holidays. Oh, and The Cider House Rules and Chocolat.
