I have never been to Cuba....a great regret, as I wanted to visit it some years ago but my husband had other ideas and we went in a completely different direction...east instead of west ! Here is a video I found recently and I thought I’d share it here, it is very colourful as well as melodic, but I don’t have any background....so if anyone else does, please add to my post. ...and since you're interested in seeing for yourself someday, Jonathan Overby of Wisconsin Public Radio in the US leads a music-oriented tour of the island every February. Next trip is set for Feb 1-9 2019, and reservations have to be made months in advance, starting in July or August of the previous year if I remember right.
