Theme from The Last Samurai, composed by Hans Zimmer. The soloist is Eliott Tordo on the Erhu, a Chinese instrument (from what I read in the comments) It has a very peaceful, New Age feel to it. Hans Zimmer is one of my favorite film score composers.

@dede18 The trees were what got me. The countryside could have been England but the trees were wrong.
I like it! I love this genre of music and have many cd's and dozens of beautiful songs like this!
