Right wing religious loonies, flat earthers, creationists, conspiracy theorists and geocentrists abound more than at any other time in human history.

I wonder if it is perhaps that these things don't always progress in a strictly linear fashion, but instead move cyclically and in fits and starts? One would hope that what we're seeing now is a final desperate frenzy of backlash before we make the next leap forward? And don't forget about the left wing loonies too.
@Rossy92 Left wing loonies tend to be less concerned with bronze age fairy tales and more with other dangerous ideas like equality, fraternity and liberty, gods help us all if those became commonly held practices.

I put him right there with Hitchens, and Dillahunty for that blunt, but quality style of anti-theism which doesn't mince words. And people call Dawkins militant?
@Rossy92 I like all of them, including Prof. Dawkins. I have many books by several of these guys.
