Baphomet rises. And the struggle continues for the Satanic Temple.
I give the Satanic Temple credit for their efforts. They aren't really satan worshipers. They are simply using the extreme to fight for religious liberty. And nothing gets people's attention quicker than when someone decides to put a christian monument on government ground, and the satanic temple reponds by saying great, if that's allowed then we should also be allowed to erect a monument in honor of satan.
Thanks for posting this! I have loved reading updates on Baphomet since they started this years ago. I think it's bloody brilliant. Of course, the ones they really need to reach (like those at the Honk for Jesus rally) are usually too ignorant and too fearful to even listen to an articulate, intelligent "Satanist."
None should be on government grounds.
Correct, Lilac-Jade. But if the government is going to decide to allow a monument from one religious group, then they have to allow equal opportunity for a monument from all religious groups. Once Arkansas allowed the ten commandments they opened it up for everybody. Arkansas now faces the choice of allowing Baphomet next to the ten commandments, or taking them both down.

Posted by CliffordCookChristian Nationalists like to insist that the United States of America is a Christian nation. What do the facts show?

Posted by CliffordCookIf the Christian Bible is such a great book, how come most Christians can’t bring themselves to read it all the way through even once?
Posted by CliffordCookIf Christians really believe in a god that is all powerful and will provide for all their needs, why do they keep on demanding taxpayer support for their struggling religious schools?
Posted by CliffordCookI groaned when I saw this Christian Nationalist Christmas meme posted by one of Donald Trump's supporters in Iowa. Then, I smiled when I saw how many of his Facebook friends had reposted it.
