Given the immense religious population in the United States, how would our history be different if our founders failed to include the separation of church and state in our constitution?
Seemed like a fun thought experiment considering that despite our nation being the only one to have that incredible liberty which other countries know the importance of all too well, it seems like we have the most amount of problems arise due to fundamentalist dogma (not referring to physical attacks which I view as a separate issue).

We already have like pledging allegiance to "one nation, under God,..." and having, "In God we trust" on our money, and prayer in legislature, etc. For one, our political leaders would officially have a faith test in order to take office, I presume. They unofficially do as it is.

And swearing in is done on a bible. 😖
