What would we do without him, in our hour of need?
When I read stories like this I'm reminded how often Christians tell us that God gave us free will. Free will means individual action, but also the free interaction between us and our environment. Like viruses. God believes in free will, so pray to him to intervene, which, logically he won't do because of free will. Go figure religious logic.

I am seriously pissed off about that one. I’m not a fan for one minute but I thought he was doing s pretty okay job considering the pressure of the moment.

How can an Australian PM, in a secular country, "commit" the nation to God, I ask? Which God? Oh, HIS God, I suppose. Such presumption. As awful as he was, I miss Turnbull.
@David1955 he probably wants to bring us all to his heaven or hell. Didn't Turnbull have Jewish ones?
@FrayedBear I thought Turnbull was as atheist, but I think I am mistaken. He used to go to church -- a phoney believer. But at least he wasn't like Fr. Tony Abbott and Scum Mo.
