Australian Rights Safeguarded or Abrogated?
According to Australian political organisation Getup Australian's Rights are to be further eroded by the government's latest proposed legislation.
Here in Victoria they have long been missing - we have $2.5. Billion p.a. police force that can prosecute you using perjured testimony but you are not entitled to legal aid.

@FrayedBear Been there done that. Was 'investigated' when I was 16 for receiving magazines, etc, from the U.S.S.R, and lots of other countries all over the world because my hobby at the time was Short-wave Radio Listening and submitting Signal Strength reports back to them, it was called QSLing.
Was followed everywhere for over a fortnight by a very 'inconspicious' (LOL) Black car with 2 men dressed in suits and ties until my Dad went out to their car one afternoon and ask.ed them if they'd like their cups of tea black or white and with sugar or without.
I don't think I'd ever seen anyone slink away like those two did after that.
