I'm such a weenie as I get older. Got to the Nantahala River with ducky and because of lack of traffic, and pouring rain. I turned veni vedi vici into I came I saw I went away. The trip down the river in the rain was acceptable, but the thought of the seven plus mile hitchhike back to the put in in the rain, turned me into a sissy.

Only babies won't hike back 7 miles in the drenching rain!

Awww. Nanthahala is so beautiful. I'm jealous, even if you didn't go rafting.

Well thanks for the offer. I hope I'll get to take you up on it someday soon.
