two big waggly tailed dogs that never came to an understanding with the leash.

7 rabbit hutches, 3 fat and lazy does and one very content buck smoking a Camel

the sound of hammer and nail on pine assembling a future.

red bird, blues bird and songbird laying down the harmony in four parts

the cicadas waking from a lazy, hazy day holed up in the foothills, unpack, the components of their rhythm section.

cicadas play only the best clubs

the best backhills, foothills, finger snappin' , toe tappin' dives and jukejoints on the Ridge

and the smell of gin, cheap beer, ditty water and backwoods romance hangs heavy in the air

Sweet Lorraine, legs akimbo, raises her skirt above her knees and swats at a skeeter

as Backbone Slim slides his calloused fingers almost to ....infinity

and squeezes the last bit of sweet sorrow from a G string

Verbal imagery saturated in slick double entendre makes the mind reel out of control.

Thanks for a whimsical ride down the spine of the back hills to the holler where Slim moves and Loraine grooves.
