You don't have to spend a fortune to have an adventure. You can read and enjoy adventures vicariously through the words of other, but there is another way you can do just about anything you want, have any kind of adventure you can think of. Just settle into a comfortable chair then open the door to your imagination. You can do anything you want, go anywhere you wish to go and have what ever kind of adventure you can dream up. And the nice thing is, if you go deep enough into your imagination, it feels just as real as this mortal reality and it becomes a memory, something you did in an alternate reality and who is to say it didn't happen?
Then you can share it with the whole wide world in first person and you are the protagonist, or maybe you chose to be the antagonist, or the observationist.
