There is no way that the US neocons will allow China to replace it as the world's major economy.

It sure makes life difficult for Canada having to go along with the USA demands. Exactly why should another country obey the USA when it chooses to put sanctions on a third country? I see no reason why China should do as the USA wishes.

@callmedubious Yes the USA does not hesitate long to get rid of anyone they find inconvenient. Rather like the Saudi crown prince. We live in an increasingly dangerous world. One wonders how bad it can get.
I really am concerned with the current Administration's handing of this. trump is not smart enough but it smack's of his resentment of CHina and his love of "poking the bear" approach to everything he does not understand. Then we hear Kelly is outta there. I'm sure Kelly was against this. The show continues, Congress sits there with it's collective thumbs up their arses.
