I know the Venezuelan military; I’ve trained some of them.
The majority of them, if the U.S. military arrives in Venezuela, will take to the hills – very formidable hills, with jungle-like backdrops – and they will harass, kill, take prisoner from time to time, and generally hold out forever or until the “gringos” leave. We might remember how the North Vietnamese and the Taliban accomplished this; well, so will the Venezuelans.

I suspect this may also about forming a strategy to pull out of other conflicts, as well as provide profit off of the countries vast oil reserves.

As usual, the cost to the local citizens as a result of American atrocity will be horrendous.
Considering American response to 9/11 I wonder what the response will be when someone returns depleted uranium bombs to you to contaminate large parts of your land as you have done to numerous foreign countries around the world. I doubt that a rational mind would target the Whitehouse or Congress because an offspring of the inhabitants will most likely be retarded or physically impaired because of the ages of the inhabitants. The administrative lackeys, however . . . ?
