Interning for a Centrist Democrat Pushed Me to Democratic Socialism

2 problems with this story. 1 is that most politicians will change their tune from crowd to crowd. I remember when McCain was running for president, back when I use to watch MSNBC religiously, how they covered him changing his stance on issues from town to town as he did his rallies. 2 to 3 times in a day McCain told the city he was in what that particular party leaning city would like to hear. The old goat seemed to have no mind towards what technology was as his rallies were going over the TV screens in our homes. You have to take to mind, McCain viewed himself as a maverick that worked well on both sides of the isle, probably believing he could get away with the flip flops. Politicians can and will say anything to keep or advance in power. It happens everyday from more than 1 of them! So I wouldn't hold my breath on Beyer's change of heart. Why find a heart at this late in the game of his long career?

2 is the DSA (Democratic Socialist Party). It sounds nice if you're one to lean towards socialist policies like myself. And it kind of goes hand in hand with Sanders, by name. DSA had a big coming out in 2016 along with Sanders. Which is when I first started noticing them in a big way on facebook. Of course being who I am I jumped on board and started following them. After a period of time though, as the primary was about mid way, it started to become obvious these people were willing to sacrifice socialist ideology for corporate ideology and establishment policy when it came to certain aspects and candidates. Which is a reason I've always been weary of AOC. And if you follow how AOC has been quite established on supporting Pelosi, and Clinton during her first interview after winning her seat, I had good reason to be. Of course other things like her views on Venezuela, flip flop on the Palestinian and Israel conflict, stolen corporate friendly new green deal. I'm sure I could come up with more if I wanted to put time in her going over past post.

Bottom line is that we have no time left for half ass fake socialist ideology. We have a planet that's about to begin burning. I can sit here in Ohio and ignore it and be thankful for the warmer winters with less snow to plow out of my driveway each year and drive through, more and longer riding seasons, but there are people around the globe already paying the price for our recklessness. As it gets worse each year! Lives are already being lost and peoples lives are being upset by horrific types of migration. Unending, unnecessary wars are being waged around the globe for all the wrong reasons! Civilization in my mind is going backwards towards uncivil!
