Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez joins House Democrats in vote for Trump war budget
{The 284–149 vote in the House of Representatives showed the Democratic Party acting as Trump’s political partner, establishing what amounts to a coalition government for the next year and a half, until the 2020 election. Democrats backed the Trump budget by 219–16, while Republicans opposed it by 132–65. Former Republican Justin Amash, now sitting as an independent, also voted “no.”
Of the 16 Democrats voting against the bill, 13 were conservative or “blue dog” Democrats who opposed the budget for the same reason as the majority of Republicans:}

Make no mistake about the numbers in this vote. It was purposely designed for the 2020 ballet to save republican face to claim they aren't war hawks in which they will use this against democrats in their districts. Trump has a win win going for him because his supporters haven't held him accountable to any measure of his betrayals to date. And that easily goes beyond 90% of his campaign lip service. That obviously goes for the blue dog democrats also.
The fact that this is expected to pass next week by an overwhelming bipartisan margin in the senate closes my case. Who I ask is the majority in the senate? Why such a drastic difference between the senate and congress?

That is a rather fair and loud statement! I think we must all start to put to rest the real intent of the lip service we get from these 2 women and rest our case. And he goes on to name the rest of them that are as, if not more, disturbing.

Nearly all Republicans and a majority of Democrats voted to table the impeachment resolution. Of the 95 Democrats who voted against tabling the resolution (thereby seeking to demonstrate their support for impeaching the president), 92 voted Thursday to support the president’s budget.}
While these democrats will ban together behind manufactured false tales towards reason to impeach, they gleefully line up behind the military complex and corporations towards further death and destruction around the globe for them. Purposely over looking real reasons of investigating issues that could actually lead to impeachment.
{This does not include spending on “entitlement” programs like Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, or payments on the federal debt, which come automatically from the Treasury.}
Prepare your families for more cuts and reasons these can't become universal social programs.

I am not surprised and from all appearances trump will get a 2nd term. I was sort of hoping after they got their tax cut they would sit quiet, I was wrong.

I'm presently registered as a Green. Which I switched to, to vote in the last mid election cycle of 2018. Over the years I have been non affiliated, which in Ohio I have the right to chose which ever primary party I want to vote in. Before going Green I voted for Sanders in the primary which automatically switch me to a Democrat. Leaving me a choice to go back to non affiliated or Green. Which I did so (Green) once I went in to vote. Voting laws in Ohio are a little easier on voters in that way. Which is why so many problems exists in other states with independents and deadlines to register. I can switch parties as an independent or non affiliated the day I go in to vote. If I so chose to vote for any certain party members in a primary. Which I'm fairly certain at this point it time it will not be for a democrat or a republican any time soon.
@William_Mary it doesn't make sense for AOC to join Democrats to support Trump on anything... Sounds like crap to me... No offense..

@Cutiebeauty don't give yourself such credit. I've been dealing with your type longer than you've been out of diapers. You're to late to being able to get under my skin. You have left yourself open for me to point out your rudeness and quackery a number of times, I've just been to understanding to confront you until now as you attack me. Part of that quackery seems more about the persons ability to relate than it is the information making sense. From you post and comments it seems quite apparent to many people around you tend to be too understanding for you. It's quite sad one who has a tendency to recognize the faults of certain people and their characters, also practices the same without notice.

I'm more than happy to work with anyone who needs clarification or is interested in my understanding on post I make as I see the narrative direction. But I can't work with ( This post seems all over the place... Very strange...) Where the hell do I go with that? It can be seen as an insult to someone's time who injects their own side notes, and I don't have a clue whether you're actually confronting the article or my injected side notes of opinion. Or whether you're actually posing a legitimate question. If you want someone's clarification, mine in this example, please provide substance and direction to that which you're referring to.
As far as AOC goes, it isn't to hard to look up the vote count. If you're on a phone and it's easier for me, I'll even do it for us. Then if you are to find the article is wrong, confront that so I know I need to reconsider the source before using it in the future. But I've never found this site to purposely mislead with its information. And BTW, this might be a hard fact for you to swallow if you're an AOC supporter, but this is far from the first time she has back legislature that favors Trump's agenda or the establishments agenda. I'm truly sorry she seems to have turned out to be another Sanders like politician, but she started giving those signs right out of the gate as she has time after time supported even those within her own party that are constantly belittling her proclaimed progressive agenda. Right out of the gate she stated she supported Clinton even after all we know about how that election went down. And today still spews the false fear the Russian narrative. You simply can't speak out against the party you're in and a number of its agendas then turn around and support it and those leading the agenda also. Her votes on military spending, support for regime change in Iran and Venezuela, Israel's right to defend itself illegally, flip flop on the budget bill that opened up fake border issues to go through, a corporate leaning green deal that was stolen and heavily diluted from the green party. Which the latter seems to be what all her supporters use as a support system from her, and I will argue she is using quite well as an illusion.
I say this as a fair warning from someone that was a stanch Sanders supporter! Who overlooked some of the very same signs in him. Deeply disappointed in Nader and Hedges discussion of how they said he would eventually collapse and betray his followers at the convention, if not before. They called that scene almost to a tee. I spent about every waking moment advocating for him on the weekends and week night of my free time to be totally let down. I suggest you prepare for the same in supporting her by watching and following every move she makes. So you can begin to recognize how she is working the system compared to working the people supporting her. I think you'll begin to find some of what I've posted in the past and my opinions on her to start casting a different light about her exposing a shadow.
