It's older than dirt, made from plants and animals, burns, pollutes and is the biggest single thing that is sending life on earth to an early grave. And it's headed for retirement, but not nearly fast enough. Can't duck the bad rap. It is what it is. "Fossil fuel" is the most appropriate name. Next the coal industry will want to duck their bad rap and call their product a 'natural mineral', too.
