One of the biggest drivers of the climate crisis, accounting for a third of the planet’s greenhouse gas emissions, is food production, with meat – particularly beef – at the top of the list. The US is the biggest consumer of beef in the world, but, according to new research, it’s actually a small percentage of people who are doing most of the eating. Not just in Florida but many places feel this way. Problem is, this kind of teaching is not against the Constitution. My late partner, a vegetarian, turned a lot of kids and their families into vegetarians.
