Just back from a visit to the Tofurky facilities in Hood River Or. Fantastic operation. Immaculately clean and well thought out. New digs are LEED cert and Hood River is a fun town. Owner Seth Tibbot is a passionate vegan. Pretty inspirational for our small operation

So many of the big aggies that have gone into the market after Vegans and Vegetarians are putting out unhealthy concoctions developed by Food Scientists. They have massive amounts of , oils, and salts to reach the "Bliss Point" where the basal ganglia takes over and one eats mindlessly, often consuming far more than one needs. And, that's by design.
Big Aggie companies invent healthy-sounding labels to sell these products like Kelloggs has Kashi and Nestless had Pure and Simply Naked. Look at the labels, see all the chemicals, and then the grams of , oils, salts and strange chemicals.
Tofurkey seems to put out much better, more healthy products.

My friend threw a Vegan Thanksgiving but forgot vegan gravy, so I blended Miso soup mix with Almonds and Wine and reduced it. It was so spot on I got rave reviews!
