After seeing a ad for a main brand’s Vegan mayonnaise, I’m experiencing an internal kickback; for the past 20 years other brands have been making this for me, and now it’s impacting their market/ becoming lucrative the main brand is joining in.
On the plus side more people will be getting a plant based product, but my loyalty to those original providers won’t be felt by new generations and this could jeopardise the original businesses 
I am conflicted. And whilst they were never rude about new age life trends, like Tetley tea were, (who I will never buy from again), I do hope they don’t kick other brands out of the market. I’ll continue with the old brands as long as they persist

I’m still happy with my existing brand and not that bothered about giving my money to Hellmans. If everyone else gets pushed out of the market I’ll eat it, unless Nestle buy it, then I’ll go without as I’m not supporting a company that are trying to make clean drinking water a luxury!
Is it good? I've not tried it

I only ever use it to mix with other things, so yes, they’re all ok from my point of view
I find it curious that you feel loyalty to a brand. Besides making a product that you have enjoyed, have they expressed any loyalty to you? If a corporation ceases to make a product that is relevant or, if they continue with a business practice that is harmful, are they owed some continued consumer support based on tenure? What’s wrong with buying both the new and the familiar product?

The problem is the mainstream brand is owned by Unilever.
Big brands pay to have their products placed in convenient eye level locations, they have a larger percentage of the market than most and I’ve always liked to support smaller more independent people too. There are some laws about monopolies, but really people need to make choices for themselves too.
Some of the big corporations have a bad ethical track record plus if vegan goes out of fashion again...we’ll be dropped like a hot rock
Also there are so many deals and specials that tie these companies’ brands together, it just seems a bit off to me.

@girlwithsmiles I like to try new things but if you're fine with your current brand that's OK
