Sounds like hate-mongering to me. I consider myself on the left but I certainly don't support Islam. I support a Muslim's right to believe what they want as long as that believe doesn't infringe on somebody else's beliefs and that includes their own families. If they live here they must live by our laws and if not they go to jail. There are a few extremists on the left but I would say there are more on the right. Both are intolerant. Finally I would say that the Pulse killer was probably both an Islamist and a homophobe but I will concede that there is little real evidence of what his motive was. What I am objecting to is the idea that if someone is left, he is pro-Islam or even pro-Muslim. I didn't leave gays or blacks or any other minority behind and neither did most others on the left. That is nonsense.
