Usually a long 4 or 5 mile walk in nice weather clears my mind of what a sad state the us of cheeto is in. It's not enough anymore ..what do you do?

I try to not ride my bike off a cliff. Fortunately there aren't any cliffs here, so I settle for riding off a curb.

I've noticed my book reading ( a form of escapism) has increased by several books a week.

I too go on walks, but in order to relac me they have to be out in nature, int he forests, away form any reminders of "civilization."

well I live in subarbia, but my trail has lakes and birds and flowers. I would walk longer , but I get tored after 6 miles!. Thanks

@Bigwavedave I sometimes also ride my bike. The real advantage to bike riding is that I can venture otu further and see many different areas. If you choose this option, take my advice and go for he best puncture proof tires and tubes you can get, so you are never caught away form home with a flat.

Bicycling may nto be an option wher eyo live. In the pacific Northwest it is generally safe to ride, and there are bike lanes and bike paths (as in paved bike trails that don't share space with care) all over the place.
