I brought it to the attention of a Facebook friend that an anti Muslim meme he had posted was a fake. I thought he'd be grateful that I pointed it out. Instead, he doubled down, and another friend of his jumped in with some more made up facts to prove how wrong I was for fact checking him.
I really don't understand people anymore.

I returned a good dose of anti trump memes and Factual posts with the sources cited and people lost their shit. Childish of me on some levels but I like to call bullshit even if it is in a juvenile humor group. Always funny and scary to see what people choose to believe in. What I posted was labeled as political and not acceptable but when they post things Pro Trump it was considered comedy.

Lots of people criticize facebook because people end friendships due to this sort of thing - people sharing stuff others taken issue with.
Personally, if my friends are assholes, I kind of want to know...
