Is there anybody else interested in flying ? Here I have two wannabe aviation twins, successfully flying the adorable Piper Cub.
It took no more than five minutes for her to successfully relate the joysticks movement to controlling the cubs flight, a clever girl !

Does flying on LSD count ?

LSD ? Hmmm, it could help if your drunk, but flying by GPS would be of significant improvement !

Now take them on an exploratory flight and fly for real, it'll be a forever memory for her.

Absolutely !

Yes! Our son got to be "co-pilot" during a joy-flight when he was eight, and was allowed (probably illegally) to take the controls for a short time. Now he's a flying instructor.

There are no foot [ rudder controls ] ...... it is too inconvenient to have foot controls for this, so alternatively, they have provided rudder control by twisting the joystick, this takes little time to get used to. Some flight sim. folk do buy foot rudder controls to heighten the realism but that costs money. Our little lady soon became used to this. Foot or hands,? she was not pilot trained, so this difference meant nothing to her. I do fly, and changing from feet to hands is no problem at all using the flight simulator.

@madmac i am referring to a real plane

@btroje I can't quite get your point,. Maybe I am at fault.
